Columbus 2014 Video in motion

Featured Replies

Hello

I've just bought Superb 2014 L&K with Columbus on version 6270. Can anybody advise if it's possible to activate video in motion without downgrade?

If so, how can I do it?

I spent hours on the internet and so far I just found out few years old posts saying it cannot be done on sw version 6270. as these were old posts I'm just wondering if there was some progress and if somebody found a way how to do it.

thanks

If you have Android 6.0+ and MirrorLink in car you can do it with LG Mirror Drive app.

i don't think there is mirror link

I'm planning to do something to add it in, but until then I'm just wondering if there is another way.

...in regards adding mirror link, has anybody done something like this . {link removed}

Non working link removed.

I don't think there is an earlier version to downgrade your Columbus to, units running 6xxx can only run 6xxx.

Some claim that 6276 enables VIM, otherwise, I think it can be done using VCP?

Not sure what your link was for as it doesn't seem to be working for me.

It can be done.

I downloaded the 6276 update with VIM and test mode update and a VIMBerto89.iso file to do the VIM separately.

Check your mail.

this is highly interesting for me and my superB 2015 MK2 FL , Columbus HW version H27 , SW version 6276 (embedded)

I tried CD with VIMBerto89 (10X burn)and it sais complete etc but VIM is not solved.

what is that 6276 update with VIM solution you are suggesting?

any hint on VIM ?

This is the file name: RNS510-6276-Update-VIM+Tm.iso
