Removal Radiator Chrome Grill Skoda Superb Mk2

Featured Replies

Morning all,

wondering if anyone can assist please.

I have just sold my Skoda Octavia MK2 L&K and purchased a Skoda Superb Mk2 Elegance with L&K pack.

Lovely car with really low milage, but just needs a few things tidying up.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the chrome grill (with the badge) before I start pulling in the wrong place and then realising there was a torx screw under the bit I've snapped off

Many thanks in advance

Rick

It is very easy. I have the pre face lift but I presume it is the same method.

Lift the bonnet up and you will find a small bolt at the back of the badge and remove it, a 4" adjustable will undo it, then simply press the little clips in slightly and it is off. Theses clips are spaced evenly across both halves of the chrome grill.

I done mine last week to access the paint where some stone chips had marked the paint.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will have a look tonight mine is 2012 Pre Facelift so should be exactly the same.

Can seem to find a Skoda Superb MK2 workshop PDF anywhere online, would be handy.

Followed a guide on here the other day to hardware a dashcam, went smoothly with no fires or broken clips!

I will post when I have had a look.

Cheers

Rick

Yes our cars are the same specification. I got Halfords to wire my dash cam for an extra £5 over the discounted cost of the cam.  Good luck.

The full manual can be downloaded form erWin you can set up an account and download anything you need
Used to be about 7 euros for a hours access which was more than enough to download the whole manual and some others
