One for Lummox...

Featured Replies

Had this in front of me today, shame not green, but maybe some thoughts as to what to do with a Nissan there Mr Lummox? :)

Nice spoiler and big exhaust...

Hope Ross doesnt mind me saying...

Been speaking to him recently and he's actually bought the same spoiler, think he was having a go at fitting it this weekend just gone, I am sure he'l be along shortly

I saw him this morning on his way to work, spoiler looks very pimp!

Group buy for the octy?

that looks pathetic. why do people do this to thier cars? what are they trying to achieve (apart from thier car looking like a bag of spanner)?

Oh you don't half crack me up  Talk about being as subtle as a sledge hammer.....

Most people would have just said its "not to my taste" or "each to their own"

Keep up the good work

(Not from Yoirkshire are you?? "I like what I say and I say what I bloody well like")

Damn it, someone has copied me allready ;)

I have to say, I think they look sh*te too, but it's not my car so it doesn't really matter what I think!

I really cant understand why people do that to cars that aren't - and never will be, fast. All that spoiler provides is more drag and a lower top speed - no-usable downforce whatsoever - not that the car could make use of it anyway

Also that looks like Brighton seafront in the pic?

You tryin to say a Prim GT aint fast?

Grrrr

;)

I've got a feeling its nearly as quick as a Golf GTD.

It's all relative I suppose, to me there is no such thing as a 'fast' Skoda, I consider fast to be sub 5 second 0-60, but thats just me!:D

To someone else a VRs probably is fast, but I just dont consider them fast personally. likewise with Nissans, unless it says either GTR or GTiR on the back, it aint fast!! (even the GTIR is questionable in standard form!! ).

Mr.Healy, i hope he doesn't mind me saying this but i'm farily sure stuart's car is pretty zippy when needed, infact if driven in that way i would say it's capable of a 5 second 0-60 if not a little bit quicker.

paul's vrs seemed a to be able to pick up its heels when it wanted to aswell.

i wouldn't be so quick to make a sweeping statement like that myself

First things first

1: I love my Octy, but the Prim GT handled better and had a better interior.

2: If Nissan had created an updated GT, I (probably) wouldn't own a vRS.

3: The owner of that car needs removing from the gene pool.

To sum up: 65000 miles and no faults whatsoever, superb car.

And speed isnt everything, if it was I wouldn't have sold my 944 turbo ;)

sorry mate, are you seriously trying to tell me a Primera can do 0-60 in under 5 seconds?

Basicaly, any car that is front wheel drive wont be doing particularly quick 0-60's. you need 4 wheel drive for that (in road cars. not entertaining drag cars here).

Anyway, as I said once already, it's all relative and I dont consider them fast, but to someone else they might be - it all depends what sort of cars you have experienced/owned before. if your used to a Veyron, a Skyline is slow, if your used to a Skyline, a VRs is slow.

haven't seen my golf then

fit lsd to a front drive car and it will get it into the 4 second 0-60 mark. pretty sure the jbs octavia had this fitted?

also has 500 bhp

tread carefully now, you might get accused of having an "attitude problem" if you going around saying what you think...

and what do people drive to only consider something that is sub 5 seconds to 60 as fast...

i'm from yorkshire you **** :D

sorry couldn't resist.
