Driver seat settings

Featured Replies

The moment I open driver door after I have locked and unlocked it, driver seat goes to the lowest position, I just want to stop this from happening, any help ?

It has been programmed to do that by someone.

You can set the seat position to where you want and even have different positions for different keys.

BTW the mirrors also adjust to where they have been set to.

Look in your manual or online for memory seat setting.

Set it to where you like it with the keys in the ignition.

Set the mirrors to where you like them.

With the ignition on, put the car in reverse. Set the left mirror to where you would like it to be when you are reversing. Make sure the mirror selector switch is in position 'L' when you are done.

Press the set button on the side of the seat then press and hold button number 1 until you hear a ding.

Remove the key from the ignition and press the unlock button on it with the door still closed. You should hear a ding.

You should now have your preferred seat and mirror settings stored in memory number 1, and that should be linked to your key so that when you use it to unlock the car it'll set everything the way you want it.

Unless you have KESSY keyless then it’s a few more steps in the manual.

I seem unable to change my stored positions, can i ask -"with the keys in the ignition" is that with ignition on or off or even turned on and then back to accessory position?

Ignition on the whole way through the process until the seat memory is stored, then turn off, remove key and hit the unlock button.

thank you

The seat moving is called "Easy Entry". Skoda charged £125 to activate it if bought new. It can be undone with VCDS or similar.

I do not recall easy entry being an option on the mark 2 superb?
