Hi got a fab mk1 I'm changing my lights to xenon conversion kit but not sure which wires are which on the h7 bulb which colour is live and earth can any one help please 

Left headlamp...

 

Earth = Brown

Dip = Yellow and black

High Beam = White and black

 

Right headlamp...

 

Earth = Brown

Dip = Yellow

High beam = White

With my set up I have black and red wire on new light but black white on car so is black the live one on the car or not

Black and white is the live feed to the high beam bulb only.

Yes the two wires that go to bulb but the two wires I have on new buld is black and red so not sure what wire goes to witch

I don't know how xenon lights are wired. Just giving you the standard wire colours for halogen. How you'd connect xenon to that I can't tell you. Someone else may know.

OK thanks I'll have a try tomorrow hope I don't blow the bulbs lol
