On my previous 15 plate passat  with the infotainment switched off a default analogue clock face would appear. Is this available on my 18 plate Se-l 

Yes, but from memory you have to 'enable' it in one of the settings menus. Sorry I can't remember which

Menu - Vehicle - Setup - Screen - Clock on screen on standby

Glad to hear it  I like my full leather ones more though lol. Main reason I wouldn’t change my car for a new Octy. I have the VC now and full leather. Unique spec lol

For mine (sel) I had to go to the main menu (Option carousel) and go to settings there, where the first option is 'screen'.

My Octavia SE has three clock versions for the standby screen.
