is a brake disc / rotor / caliper / pad a major or minor job?

so I've now had the F/L caliper replaced as well as front axle brake discs and pads, due to the seized caliper having scorched the disc on one side. The OEM replacement brand used by the indepedent garage was Mintex.

Driven 250 miles at up to 70+ mph. No judder anymore, though I've noticed last night that the brakes squealed occasionally when braking going forwards at speeds decelerating to 15mph and nearly all the time when braking while reversing at low speeds <5mph, like manuvering speeds.

When I got back home this morning, I used an infrared thermometer to measure the temp of the discs, FL (42, new OEM replacement Mintex caliper, disc, pads), FR(47, factory caliper, replacement disc pads), RL (32-34, factory), RR(32-34, factory). I dont know what temp they were before because I never thought to take measurements until something went wrong.

Anything to be concerned about here?

Personally having changed disks and pads over the years they do create heat for a while and excess dust on the wheels whilst bedding in. After the first 100 or so miles depending on usage that should go and no more heat to excess like you have been seeing.
