Good day, 

Just purchased a 2015 VRS, unfortunately it came with no Sd card for the Sat Nav and station logos, ebay seem to have a load on offer but I'm unsure which one is suitable. 5E0035874A is the part number for my nav drive, but I have no scooby doo which SD card works.

mark im using a class 10 200gb in mine for data and a genuine (ebay one £40 for maps)  and it works fine. Have you purchased the card with maps loaded? dont buy it from skoda!

do you have one or two slots?

Not sure what version of the infotainment system your part number tells us you have...

 

But if you have an Amundsen sat nav then you MUST use a genuine Skoda SD card not a standard SD card. If that's what you need then they are much cheaper off eBay than from a dealer (£30 instead of £200).

 

The updated maps and station logos can be downloaded off the Skoda portal free by entering your VIN number Skoda Update Portal

Hi jonnyType2, I have two slots, I have tried 4 different sd cards and none seem to work

Cheers PetrolDave, I can't seem to find an SD card that works I have tried 3 of them from eBay and none work, so many different part numbers...

are you talking about a plain card from ebay or the correct skoda one with maps on?

That's for a MIB2 Amundsen, if your Octavia (like mine) is an early 2015 build then it will have a MIB1 Amundsen and you will need a 5E0 051 236 SD card not the 5L0 051 236 pictured.

ive upgraded my HU to MIB2 amundsen and it uses that card although its a 2014MY

I'm slightly confused about the maps in my car as I have full EU maps, but I don't want to update them because the new offerings are worse.

Not that Dave needs a confirmation, but I have that very card pictured and in my MIB1 it no worky

Whilst we are on the subject can you install 2 SD cards into the system covering two different zones and if so does it work? 

No. The system will accept only one map area at a time

Thank you. You've just saved me some cash. I was thinking of buying a second one to cover all areas.
