I bought a new Citigo in October 2018. I discovered only after delivery that it has no AM radio and only FM.  I live on the continent and where I live there is I guess no call for AM radio, unlike the UK. I had a VW Up! and that had AM radio...

 

Do you think it would be possible for a UK dealer to fiddle about with it and make it AM, too?

 

It's a radio BLUES, fitted to a standard 60bhp version. I'll be in England with my Citigo in the summer so wanted a bit of advice, first from all you knowledgeable Citigo owners:)

Can't remember the last time I tried listening to AM in the car basically because AM reception when moving is always so atrocious.

It might be coding or it could be different hardware.

 

If possible, a VCDS autoscan might give some clues
