Koni / H&R kit, sitting too low at rear

Featured Replies

Just fitted a Koni / H&R kit to my 02 Octavia vRS, it's lowered it a lot more than I would have liked, particularly at the back.

At the front it looks fairly similar to a friends 08 Tour which was lowered with Bilstien pro 30/30 kit but my rear looks really low.

the part numbers on the springs match to those on the TÜV cert so should be correct.

Are there different rear Spring seats that could raise the rear to a more normal height?

Was it a vrs specific or a "mk4 golf compatible" type set up?

9times out of 10 its for a mk4gti, s3 or leon cupra, Which have different weight on the back end..

The other 1/10 its something like old worn out top mounts..

How much lower is "a lot"?

It is a vRS specific kit, the TÜV documentation specifically lists it as a vRS -20 kit

i was expecting it to leave mine slightly lower than a standard -30 kit but it looks like I'm more -45 on the rear.

perhaps I just need to replace the spring mounts?
