EGR valve intermittent fault question

Featured Replies

onmy 1.6 FSI octavia, recently ECU light came up and took to a friend how owns VCDS. Following EGR and g65 fault on full scan:

001025 - EGR System
               P0401 - 002 - Insufficient Flow - Intermittent - MIL ON
             Freeze Frame:
                    Fault Status: 01100100
                    Fault Priority: 0
                    Fault Frequency: 1
                    Reset counter: 255
                    Mileage: 150421 km
                    Time Indication: 0
                    Date: 2000.00.00
                    Time: 16:25:33

Readiness: 0000 0000

00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65) 009 - Open or Short to Ground

This was then cleared and reset (except G65 which doesn’t clear up).

I have not noticed anything abnormal while driving or performance wise. If I reset it comes up after driving for some time between 200 - 300 miles.

Please advise, do I need to change the EGR valve or should be investigating anything else…..
