hesitation In 3rd gear

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have recently become the proud owner of a Fabia VRS.

I am very pleased with the car except for one small problem, sometimes

when cold, the car can really hesitate in 3rd & 4th gear at around 2000 revs.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so what was the fix?

Cheers.:)

is it a new 06 model? if so many people have had this issue. I think this is being looked into on this forum so do a search for "stuttering" as thats what it is know to be.

I can imagine if enough people go to dealers with this issue skoda will sort it out.

Thanks for reply, will look into it.

Hi Big Ted

Have a look at my thread 'New 06 Furby vRS Probs' for some more info on this problem. I've got it too, along with quite a few others. Like Chris said, you need to inform your Dealer so that they are aware of it.

Happy Stuttering

Thanks Suncat for the reply.

Mines in the dealers on Monday, but at the moment the vrs is ok.

Problem seems only to happen in the first few miles, after that it goes like bomb.

Will let you know what happens.:)

If it's an 06, make sure you check your seats for wrinkles ;)
