Hi to all you Briskoda members.

I have worked at a VW retailer for 16 years where I achieved 'Master Technician' status. Since leaving the dealer network I now have my own business in Rugby specialising in VW group vehicles.

Generally, I prefer diagnosis work. I have Odis diagnosis with an online connection to the factory enabling me to do what I used to do at the dealer - where I used to work.

I am hoping I can bring something to this great site (I also own 2 new Fabias) with my knowledge and experience, although I'm conscious there are many intelligent people on this site.

Feel free to contact me,if I'm able to give any useful input then I will always do my best.

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

Noticed today that my rear view camera is seeing more than it used to, that is, I can now see some of the number plate and body work top and bottom. I'm sure it used to be just a nice clear picture of the rear without anything extra? Am I mistaken, does everyone see the number plate and bodywork?

Hi All, I have recently inherited a 2015 Skoda Fabia from my late Grandad, at current it has the Bolero (I think) 5Q0035820. I have been told in order to get Android Auto I should upgrade this to the 5Q0035842. To do this is the only thing I need to change the box behind the glovebox or do I need to change the screen as well. Additionally I have found a listing for a 5Q0035842B from a Skoda Octavia, am I correct in thinking this will work in my Fabia.

Hi, I recently bought a '22 Kamiq and found that the rear speakers aren't working. When I go to the Sound > Position section of the infotainment screen, I have the cross on the screen and I am able to fade the speakers left to right, however there are no arrows on the vertical axis and you cannot fade the speakers front to back. I have tried a Hard and Factory reset but this does not fix the issue. I have briefly read that maybe this means a wire is bust or a speaker is broken which is cau
