Skoda Octavia BCM 1K0937087D Headlight issue

Featured Replies

Hello Friends

I have Skoda Octavia II (Laura) 2010 1.9 Tdi

Problem: Head Light is always on after the ignition. HeadLight on off Switch is not working at all. High beam and low beam switch working.

How it was coming: I went to get my car clean and the service guy used some steam machine in my car. When I was leaving from the service center I started my car and switched on the Light switch as it was evening time. When i reach home i tried to switch it off but the switch was not working at all. I realized there is some issue as the car was fully moisture from inside. I open the head light switch and saw some water there. After that i discussed with a service center guy and got to know that BCM is damaged.

Here I want to request you guys if anyone can provide a circuit diagram of BCM 1K0937087D so that I can replace the damaged chip and get the switch working again. or help me to trace the switch wires.

If the light switch is damaged and giving an implausible signal, the BCM will keep the headlights on.

Why do you think the BCM is faulty?

I'd dry the light switch out and make sure it working properly or try a replacement light switch first.

Thanks for your reply

i tested it with the switch replacement. even if you removed the switch completely, the light will still on.

There is also a wire connected to the rear view auto dimming mirror on the windscreen. When I had a windscreen replacement. The mirror fell off broke one of the 2 wires. My headlights stayed on when car started. Until wire was repaired this issue persisted. And on my 2005 Octy I don’t have auto headlights.
