Rolling back / removing emissions "fix" EA189?

Featured Replies

does anyone no where i can get the EA189  Emissions fix rolled back on my 2014 skoda superb in the North West, had it a couple of years and always thought it felt a bit too slow and not brilliant fuel economy and only recently found out that it had had the fix by the Skoda dealers i bought it from, can't seem to get anywher on the web

Any decent tuning shop should have the tools to rollback the fix.

The  EA189 Fix Reversal Assistance (VW Diesel Emission Scandal) Forum maintains a list of approved tuners and discusses these issues in length. Join the group and check the sticky - it's plentiful of useful info  ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/1767691216860894/ )

Any NON facebook information?

Before you go spending a lot of money on a rollback, see if you can test drive a car that hasn't had the update. You might be surprised.

@kv2 is yours a 140 or 170?

You are best contacting a local tuner that will be able to tell you what they can do for you regarding a complete remap.

My 140 4x4 has had no EA189 I fitted a DTUK tuning box I got from here and was impressed with the difference but a couple of connections in the leads were going faulty so removed and  stumped up for a full Remap

even bigger difference than the box as its done right better fuel economy when driven normal and far greater torque for towing my boat.:party:
