First time Skoda owner

Featured Replies

Hi all, now i must admit i am of a generation were i started driving in the Eighties and a skoda with a sunroof was classed as a skip im sure you've heard all the jokes etc.

I have owned loads of cars along the way of my 35 years of driving and my latest cars are a BMW 1 series 120d and a BMW 118i Msport convertible and today i P/X my 118i or may i say swap for a 2013 1.6tdi elegance 5dr with 50k on the clock ..I did have a test drive and i will be realy honest here i found it quite a pleasent drive ,plenty of room and a nice torquey engine and at £20 tax and excellent MPG as i do do a lot of miles..My 120d is always going to be my motorway cruncher but that could soon change once i have tested the Fabia on a long motorway journey ...I guess i am going to spend some time on here now as i do always try and do my own jobs service etc....

A warm welcome to the Forum !  Nice to hear from a younger driver, I started driving in the 50s and still enjoy it.
