Hi all not been here in a while, just thought i would share a nugget of info for any poor soul needing to replace the blower motor. Everything says dash out this is a lie as I have just removed mine while leaving air bags and steering wheel attached I do have the moulded dash, I undid all the screws on the motor side including the ones behind the stereo once you do this with the right tools you can remove the motor you get enough clearance it's fiddly but doable. Enjoy I didn't.

...Might be dependant on if you have climatic or climatronic a/c. Beside, the fiddly might be more work to a professional, then complete removal, with all the tools, details, etc.

Nice bit of knowledge, though.
