Hi guys wondering how i update the sat nav?

 

This is the information on my sat nav

Amundsen+ (RNS 315)
*Part number - 3T0035197A
*Software versions - 0500
*System hardware versions - H80
*Navigation data: part number - 3AA919866
*Navigation data: version - 0062

*Navigation data: Data Medium - EUR_W_V6

You currently have V6 maps, the latest are V11 although people have reported instability when going above V9.

 

To update, you need to buy an SD card and put it in your headunit. It's a one shot thing so the SD card can only be used to update one headunit

 

 

Any idea where i could get a SD card from? I imagine skoda directly costing a fortune

Correct, Skoda do charge quite a bit for a RNS-315 update.

 

There are various sellers on eBay that sell cloned/pirated cards but I've no direct experience.
