Rattle in front suspension of my 2017 superb 190 executive dsg

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what causes this rattle, 35,000 miles on clock. One dealer says it is in the shock absorbers and they have to be re-greased, doesn't sound right to me. I have heard same noise in a superb taxi I used when I was on holiday, must be a problem in superb mk3 model.

Grease fixes squeaks not rattles.

Rattles are likely to be cause by ...

1. Worn, cracked or missing bushings

2. Loose or missing nuts/bolts/fasteners/brackets (say for a brake line)

3. Bent or broken suspension components
