Columbus MIB2 (2017) - Lost advanced turn notifications

Featured Replies

I have posted this in the ICE forum, however I know this one gets a lot more traffic.

Before yesterday, when using the navigation on my Columbus I would see the next 3 up-coming directions I would need to go.

They would appear as 3 rectangles in the top-left corner of the screen, would be 1-2cm deep and have the large green arrow in and usually the road name.

This was incredibly useful as it meant if I was coming off a major road and then taking round-about, I'd have advanced notification of which exits I'd be taking at each of them.

At the moment, in the top-left corner I'm only seeing a current speed limit notification.

I've looked in the navigation advanced settings and cannot find this feature, thought it might be part of the split-screen settings, but no.

It definitely did this when I first bought the car, long drive home from dealership and then some subsequent long journeys.

I have enabled traffic sign recognition, HBA and the virtual-sub and at the end of the latter I did have to hard reset the Columbus to get the feature to show.

Anyone know how I can get this advanced turn notifications back?

Set to split screen. At the top of the box touch arrow and this will open an options box.Choose directions option and you are done

As above, split screen then manoeuvres and they will return. So handy. Mine shows the next services etc en route as well. Brill :D

Thanks chap/chapesses.

I went to manoeuvres yesterday when I was trying to get it working, however because I was starting my route close to a junction, it was going to the close-up of what I needed to do - not the list of "upcoming turns" I was expecting to see.

So I just assumed this wasn't the correct setting.

On your advice above, set to manoeuvres after creating a route and yes - back to how I remember.

It is such a handy feature - if I'm coming off a motorway and then going right at a round-a-about and then left at the next (for example) I can see exactly where I need to be on the road.

Without this you're waiting for the current manoeuvre to complete before you're being told about the next....

Cheers all.
