SEL Exec to Sportline

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm considering changing the front grilles/bumper and rear bumper of my SEL Exec to the Sportline trim.

I've found the front grille;

I can see some of the lower grille options here;

But I'm not sure what bits I would need...

I also cant seem to find the correct rear bumper unit.

Can anyone advise?

Cheers,

Tom.

That top link is for the frame surround to the grille. Just in case you were unaware :thumbup:

Cheers fellas.

JR RS - did you fit yours yourself, is it complicated?

It isn’t that complicated of a procedure, but it does take quite some time.

I’ve replaced my “standard” grille for a Sportline grille last week, both the grille and the surround, and there are some rather tricky screws in there.

it definitely does help to have a second person helping out.

A full write up of what to do is available on the German ŠKODA forums, I’ll edit the link for that one in when I have some time.

i have no clue about the lower grille, but the price for the simple trim pieces in black was a bit much for me, so I decided to wrap those myself with some vinyl wrap. Looks really neat, and no chance of breaking off any clips.

EDIT: the guide is available Here
