Retro fitting high beam assist to Superb 2019 model

Featured Replies

Hi, will be collecting our new superb SE L Exec next week, and was wondering if the high beam assist can be retro fitted to the car or is it a factory built option.

It depends...if you have the forward facing, A5 camera then it's a relatively simple coding change with VCDS or OBD11.

Do you have Traffic Sign Recognition and/or Lane Assist on the car?  There should be a triangular 'cut out' in the windscreen, behind the rear view mirror if you have the A5 camera (as you look at the windscreen from the outside)

Hi, thank you for the quick reply, I do not know at this stage if the car will have the A5 camera. Is there an easy way of finding out, I have the vin number?

On the SE-L I believe you would need to have specified either traffic sign recognition or lane assist as an option to enable the HBA on coding.
