Out of Warranty Servicing.

Featured Replies

I know that this may have been discussed and apologise for starting a new topic. I have a 2016 SEL DSG which is now out of Warranty and confused about servicing.

It's currently on long life service and is due an oil change in 4k and then a service at 5k as I plan to keep the car. Do I just service the car every 12 months or 10K  and forget the long life and then get the oil change and filter and everything else that needs to be done at that annual service. So in other words keeping it simple. ?

I do a lot of stop start, mixed driving which includes short and long journeys and towing. The mileage is at 50500 at mo.

What engine? Though if you are going to keep the car and are also doing short journeys then every year is the best in my humble opinion.

I've got the 2.0 , 190 bhp engine.

I'd stick to annual / 10000 given your type of use plus of course stay with recommended intervals re Cam Belt change  / DSG oil change etc.
