Nice! Makes it sit like a car a should now without the embarrassing arch gaps! 

My Spaceback has the worst ride of any car I have owned. Faultless everywhere else but that ride....

Maybe you just have a bad combination of tyres and model. I test drove a 2013 TDI on OEM Dunlop SportMaxx and it rode worse than the 20 year old Proton I'd arrived in. My 2014 TSI on OEM Contis was unbelievably superior in comfort with 100kg less on the front axle and decent rubber.

My previous Rapid notchback had Contis and the ride was incredibly good but that was on 15"s. My current car has Bridgestones on 17" alloys - the ride isn't as good but I wouldn't expect it to be on lower profile tyres.

 

it is, however, infinitely better than my Scirocco R though
