Help! Passenger headlight wont work!

Featured Replies

I have a 2013 Greenline Elegance and have the Bi-Xenon headlights. Yesterday one of my lights (passenger) went out on my way home. I got home and pulled the bulb out, I went and ordered myself 2 new bulbs. Out of curiosity I plugged the old bulb into the drivers side and it worked, I swapped both bulbs and the passenger side still wasnt working. I have just been out and checked all the wires and fuses, still no joy. I find it strange how it just went out without any warning. I cant find anything wrong with it and really don't want to have to take it into Skoda.

Thanks in advance.

As you have xenons, try swapping the ballasts over.

I take it I will have to remove the headlight to do this

The ballast is attached to the underside of the headlight so it would certainly be easier with the headlight out. Not sure if you can get access from the wheel arch or underneath.

I'd take both control modules off to check for corrosion/water damage as it's not unusual on the Superb.

Thank you. I will give this a go later and let you know how I got on.
