This might sound like a really stupid thing to ask but I’m not going to pretend to know loads about cars, if you take the casing off round the steering wheel underneath their is a black box does anybody no what this is called looks a bit like a pc hard drive ha ha

Its called the steering control module and it connects up the electrics for the steering wheel.

Cheers guys my car has been off road for sometime now and the bloke who’s fixing it said this is the problem however his changed that now and the car won’t start still cheers
