I'm keen on trying to apply some form of fabric protector to the fetching light grey interior when I get it, however I am loathed to spend a fortune on having one of these valeting companies scotchguard it, especially the one the dealer has an agreement with. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy DIY cans of scotchguard or similar in this country and if so where from? I know in America you can, but I don't remember seeing any here. Anyone know differently?

Halfords sell a Simoniz teflon upholstery protecter that does the same job. It's about a tenner and comes with a foam cleaner as well.

i used the simoniz stuff on my car seats at the weekend and it has come up very well my son dropped a bottle of juice on it and the liquid just beaded up and was easy to clean off of the seats, great stuff

I don't suppose I could take you up on that offer could I? Having a couple of 'saucepan lids' the interior of my vRS could do with some protection - I'll be at Duxford too, salivating over the Blackbird! :airjock:
