Hi can any one shed some light on a few faults on my dash the battery went flat and now the speedo doesn't work fuel gauge goes up and down as it likes abs light on and red flashing brake light on and the engine management light 

Did you replace the battery? They are known to have weird electrical issues if the batteries are not 100%.

We had intermittent ABS warnings until I replaced the battery with a Bosch 096. No issues since.

I think you can also get weird issues if the alternator isn't performing properly.

 

New battery fitted had vag on it no faults recorded will check alternator tomorrow if it keeps on it going up for sale lol 

It's possible that you get some warnings after battery change (power steering or similar) but they should disappear rather quickly.

But this gauge thing sounds weird.
