I am excited to say that I have just purchased a new Fabia Combi 1.0 TSI 110 DSG. After 1 test drive I was sold, everything was smooth and quiet. The biggest worry for me was if the 1.0 litre engine was powerful enough. With the turbocharge, which you can really feel when you put your foot down, it really zips on the motorway with overtaking manoeuvres being a walk in the park!

 

Traded in my old car, Hyundai I30 CW 1.6 CRDI. I got very fed up with the engine vibrations a diesel gives off plus the car is 9 years old so I thought it made sense to trade/sell now as I think roughly when a car is older than 10 then it's harder to get rid of. 

 

Think I got a good deal here in Sweden. The car was 190000kr, skoda have a regional campaign price in April which takes 20000kr off. The car had over 10000kr worth of extras so final price was 180000kr. Very cheap for a new car especially as its a combi and automatic transmission! 

The dealer is giving me 35000kr for my trade in which is a good price.

Welcome James.  Should be no difficulty with the 1.0 in a Fabia.  If it was something larger like a Karoq, I'd be more concerned.
