Hi guys. I have a 2005 Fabia Ambiente TDi PD 100 and fed up of replacing my plastic wheel trims. I'm thinking about replacing with (second hand) alloy wheels? What would be a reasonable price to pay? And presumably I'd then have to get someone to transfer my tyres over? Would it be worth it? Thoughts?

@LizzieC - Well, only you can decide how much you'd be prepared to pay for alloys (and condition is a factor if buying second-hand). As an alternative suggestion, what about taking some wheel cleaner to the steels, and then painting them aluminuim?

Why do you need to keep replacing the wheel trims?

Plastic cable ties are what most people use to fix the wheel covers...
