Any experienced 18" Vega + sports suspension?

Featured Replies

Evening guys, I'm interested in a Fabia Monte Carlo with the new 18" Vega wheels + sport suspension? Has anyone experienced this combo? I imagine the ride will be firmer than the 16 or 17" wheels, but I recently read a review that described the ride as teeth shattering. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, D

The 17 inch with sport suspension (brand new only 450 miles) wasn't noticably different than the 16 inch without (50k miles), i can't imagine it being significantly harsher. The 17 inch felt as though it handled better, but with slightly increased harshness over bumpy roads. The fabia isn't known for a particularly smooth ride anyway, unless you're on 14-15 inch wheels.

Depends on the quality of your roads. Round my parents the roads aren't so bad, but where i live if you're not on a main road the roads are pretty garbage! The roads make the most difference. Some of the roads near my ex partner you could probably drive on bare metal and it'd still feel smooth the roads are that nice... wish it was like that everywhere haha
