Bin-liner stuffed in nearside wing?

Featured Replies

What you're looking at below is a hole (presumably for drainage purposes) found under the bonnet on the nearside, between the end of the scuttle panel and the wing. It looks as if the other side has been stuffed with a black plastic bag. Anyone else have this, or is this another thing to add to the snag list?

Mine has this hole, but only on the N/S and it is plugged. Had to get the muck off it to find it.

Yes this is only on the nearside. Could be sound deadening. If it's plugged with a bung can you post a picture? I'm not sure moisture should be getting into whatever it is down there.

It's not a bung, just like yours.

Ah, great -- thanks for confirming that this is how it's meant to be.

Whatever it is!
