Pretty sure the sportlines all have 312mm part from the 280 4x4 and they have 340mm

mine is 4x4 diesel and they were 312 but I changed them for 340 because I found some callipers cheap and already had the discs from my previous Octavia.

If if yours are 312 I’m pretty sure that brembo do their xtra discs which are drilled too, Euro car parts do them at reasonable prices. Also try Skoda brembo xtra 312 into eBay

I think it’s 272. Phone eurocar parts. Give them your ref and they should be able to tell you for defo

Many thanks

I wana get ceramic brakes for less dust, but those don't work with drilled disks right? Upgrading rear from 300 (I got 190ps diesel) to vented 312 or so requires caliper change as well right? which is kinda costy 😕

Dust I'm not to concerned with but rust is my issue hence the look for some better quality and aestheticallly pleasing discs to replace the rusting original fitments.

I have painted my calipers and wheel hubs today though which has made a vast visual improvement.

Which paint did you use and how did you find it to apply, etc?

I'm thinking of doing this myself but will wait for the pads to wear and do the whole lot whilst the wheels are off.

I used hammerite direct to metal. Lots of alternative products around but I spoke to a long standing motor factors store nearby. They said hammerite is as good as anything else.

Easy to apply. Good to check over the tyres also and clean the inside of the alloys.

I upgraded the fronts to 340 from 312 and I think the rears are ok as they are. If you do the whole lot just go with the superb 280 set up or golf mk7-7.5 R set up. And I think the 245 Octavia uses the same set up but they’ll be a lot rarer.

Did you need just new calipers 7, pads 6 and discs 3 or heat shield 1 and brake backplate 5 as well?
