child car seats

Featured Replies

I'm now a great great grandad, and we occasionally babysit. I notice in my car manual that Furby MK1 is fitted with isofix adapters. ( not something I'd envisaged bothering about) . How do isofix seats link up with this fixing ?

The back of the child seat will have two long bits on the rear of the seat, simply line them up the the anchor points in your car and push the seat into place.  You will hear it click into place and the seat is then secure in your car and ready for use

Congratulations!!!

Not anything strange. You need to find where the loops are putting your hand between the seat gap. Then you push the baby seat with it's latches facing the car's isofix loops and *clack* the latches secure to the car's loops. To take off the seat you have to press the levers of the latches to be released.

Edit: the friend above was quicker than me!!!

Tanks folks. Now all I needto do is see if daughter's car has isofix ( should do as it's a 2008 Pug), so that when GGD is ready for a car seat ad opposed to baby seat, we get the iso fix one,. Be a lot easier whn it comes to baby sitting. I double as GD and dad to GD, as daughter kicked her partner out when GD was young, and I've had to fill in.
