I have for sale my Hikvision DS-7604NI-SE/P nvr. It is a four port poe nvr in excellent condition.
It comes in original box with remote control, mouse, power lead, software disc and quick start guide.

It is using the latest firmware.

Please note that there is no hard disc drive included.

Asking price is £60.

This can be collected from LE16 or I will post at a cost of £8.

Even with your techy description and all those photos I still have no idea what this thing you are selling is supposed to do 🙄

Have put on reading glasses and it looks to be a CCTV recording unit, mine is called a DVR, what does the N signify? Does it record or send the images somewhere else to be recorded?

Hard to believe that I once made my living installing this stuff, a lot has changed since 2004!!!!

I'm always nosey and curious as to what stuff is, apparently it's a network recorder, that's what 'N' stands for.

Must admit I'm no wiser but guessing you hook up CCTV cameras to it?

My apologies. It does read all a bit techy.

It is indeed a network video recorder and is used as part of a cctv system. It sits on your network at home and you connect network (ip) cameras to the network ports on the back. These are poe ports which means power over ethernet. If you have a poe camera then you don't need a seperate power supply for the camera as it is powered via the network cable.

You add a hard drive into the nvr and everything is recorded onto it. You can then use a browser on your pc (on the same network) at home to view live or recorded images. You can also get an app on your phone to do the same from anywhere in the world.

As an example I have a camera above our front door which looks over our cars parked on the drive. We can see anyone who comes to the door, or anyone looking round our cars in the dead of night. (you can also prove that the parcel delivery man didn't attempt to deliver a parcel when he said he did. 😀)

Hikvision is a well known make in the home cctv business.

Hope that goes some way to very basically explain what it is.

Any more questions, just ask away.
