Strange squeek started tonight.

Only happens when i go over speed bumps.

Sometimes it sounds if its coming form the back but most of the time its sounds if its coming from the front.

I think its the front arb but not positive.

Sound seems to be coming from floor below dash!!!

If its arb,then will it be bushes,links or both?

Willing to upgrade to stiffer ones.

Any suggestions,please.

You should be able to find load's of threads on the dreaded 'squeeky ARB bushes'.

I replaced mine with 'Powerflex' ones.

I did the work myself in less than 1 hour, to do both sides.

Do they just slide over the bar(have they got a split in) if you just undo the brackets.

If im thinking of the right bushes,you can undo the top two mounts and pull the bar a little so you dont have to undo the main suspension mounts that would involve getting the car set up again(tracking).

If you take the front wheel off, you will see the bush very clearly. Just follow the ARB until it starts to go under the car!

There is just one bolt that holds the clamping bracket in place.

Therefore, undo bolt, pull out old bush, replace with new.

Yes, the bushes have a split in them and the 'Powerflex' bushes come with some special grease, this really helps with the re-assembly.

No other items have to be removed or adjusted.
