Front Passenger Door Deadlocked ?

Featured Replies

Hello to all.  I just wondered if anyone can advise me on how to get the front passenger door open on my Fabia 1. My mechanic freind and I managed to get the door card lifted up enough to look inside the door that has been locked shut for a few months. The door button was still going up and down with the keyfob, but the door was stuck shut. When we prised the door card open enough to see inside we could see that cable had come off the linkage and assumed it would solve the problem. But the door is still locked. I am hoping that someone may have came across the same problem, and can advise me on a fix. If not we will have to rip apart the whole door card, and probably have to replace the lock etc. Thanks in advance for any advice.
