A few weeks ago my key wouldnt open my car remotely so I presumed the battery needed changing. After a lot of fiddling :eek: managed to change it , but the car still wont open using the remote.............well sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt, seems to have a mind of its own. Tried the fuses they look ok, any suggestions ??

Is this your main key or the spare? Do you get a light flash on the fob when you press it (mine does and its a Comfort/Ambiente)? If it's the spare, how long ago did you use it roughly?

Just some questions to help solve the problem in the cheapest and easiest way

It happens with both keys, changed both batteries. Had the car 18 months, dont think the light flashes.
