Superb SE Specification

Featured Replies

I have just taken delivery of a Superb SE (New but reduced of course as end of Superb 3) but have notice the Auto Dimming rear Mirror (mention in current Spec brochure)  is not fitted.

Has anyone else had a Superb SE model in 2019 who could confirm if they have an auto dimming mirror?

Many thanks.

Have you asked the dealer why it’s missing when it states it as standard on page 5 of the pricing and spec brochure?

Is it possibly a stock car that's at MY18 spec?

I have just taken delivery of a Superb built around April, and it has an autodim mirror.  That is, there is no little lever on the bottom so it must be!  Note that it dims, not dips.

Stephen,

Does it look just like a normal mirror ( mine does and dealer says changed style and have no button or anything to indicate auto dim.

Annoying but my Superb SE is the first car in years that doesn't have a dipping mirror. I don't miss it at all as you can dip it when you want to, as opposed to being blinded while you wait for it to do it's thing as per my previous BMW, Passat and Focus.

My mirror dims when the ambient light is low enough for the headlights to come on. It's got nothing to do with following headlights.

Yep these new ones work a lot lot quicker it seems instant to me. And side mirrors too
