Yep, I actually went out and washed the car today :eek:

I took some photo's to remind me of unforgettable day. If you look at photos 2 and 3 though, you can see where the rear bumper isn't quite the right colour and I don't think it's been finished properly and in photo 3, look how little shine is on it.

Not quite right = totally wrong.

But does look clean though!

Thats what I think too. I've pointed it out to people and all I've been told is that no, it's fine as its just the way plastic goes, but the front isn't like it.

I guess I blind man will be proud of it! I would have thought even being plastic the colour wouldn't be that far off, but what do I know.

Short of cleaning the whole thing, it might be possible to fade the stains in with a solution of water/bicarb of soda using a wrung-out cloth. Start from outside the stain line and move towards the centre but in straight lines, like a starburst, so that only about half of the area is "swept". Perhaps a level desertspoon per pint or two. If there's any improvement after the first go, try again later.

Assuming we're talking fabric, it's unlikely to do any harm.

For the sake of clarity, a proper leather cleaner would be better on leather. IIRC I think it was Mike (flatfourburble) who posted a review of the top ten products on the market. I'll edit if I can find it.

My fist Skoda , was obsolutly the same color Fabia. Lovly color , especialy when sunshine ! But You have to polish it a litle bit ;-)
