I would like to add MFSW to my Skoda Octavia Combi Style (model 2016) with Bolero radio. Do I have to upgrade my gateway also or is it enough with the buttons and airbag cable? And coding?

 

Where is the gateway located?

its behind the steering wheel column easy access is by removing the small coin box by the steering wheel, im upgrading mine at the moment you can have mine if you want? 5Q0, it has full steering controls.

 

 

I also might be swapping my wheel out for a dsg paddle version if you still need a MFSW?

Is the position the same when the steering wheel is in the left side?

this will allow the MFSW functions and is surplus to requirements, it also allows the Active info display.

yes its right above the column behind the instrument cluster. held up by two clips either side, squeeze and pull to the front of the car to release down
