Hey all, I’m new here, I recently bought an original symphony stereo as I didn’t like the aftermarket jvc that I had in the Octavia mk1 (the car came with it), after fitting the stereo it’s come onto safe mode, I didn’t get a code with the stereo so is there a way of getting the code for free please if I give someone the serial number. I have tried these 2 from the back of the stereo which hasn’t worked.

There are adverts on eBay that will retreive the security code for around £20 you will need to provide the serial number that is engraved into the side of the radio
