Bolt on, with a healthy run of sealant/adhesive down the A-post / bulkhead area

Bolted and bonded.

Thanks, folks. Should make the job of replacing the front wing after a myopic van driver failed to see it in his mirrors a bit less of a drama. Fortunately it was more of a slight push on the wing about the area above the tyre. Bumper is ok, but wing/bumper join is a bit damaged. repairer reckons he should be able to get away with a wing and paint. Next step ( as in another post )-find the paint code ,as boot lid marker is a bit marked, and service book has been put in a safeplace by Swinbo.
