Lost all stored radio stations

Featured Replies

Odd one here, and wondered if anyone has had the same.

Yesterday all the stored radio stations vanished, in the way that they would in the good old days after a flat battery.

The car hasn't had a flat battery, they were all there first thing when I took my lad to school, popped out at lunch and all the storage blocks were blank.

Very odd.

Edit to add: Columbus 10.1

Yes, my Columbus did it three times around June/July last year, but It hasn’t done it since.

All was fine the evening before, I started the car the next morning and no stations. Thought it may have been to do with personalisation but I only use one key.

Same for me about a year ago, also with no flat battery. Reinstalled them and all has been well since. There are a couple of threads on here about it. Some have had it happen a number of times, but for me fortunately it was just the once.

It's happened twice with mine. Been good for over a year now.

Happen to me a couple of weeks ago, also lost all the phone details and had to relink them on Bluetooth and android auto.

I blaimed the fact that I had left my headphones charging on the USB connection.

Have you used the non usual key or selected a different driver when you got in by accident?

Mines done this a couple of times but as the other replies no other issues or causes and it's behaved itself for months now. Just technology doing what it does best!

Happened to me twice in first 6 months of ownership, but not again since (another 6 months). Interestingly only my profile was affected. My wife’s profile was fine.

It’s a very common bug.

And yet still no sign of a fix!

Mine has done this a couple of times too, just randomly loses the DAB channels but FM and MW ones are fine. Been ok for the last month or so.
