Hovering over the order button on "Drive the Deal" for a Karoq Sportline 190 DSG. Have seen a few references to problems with 1.5Tsi engine. Not sure what they are but are there any such issues with the 1.9 Petrol? Can anyone come up up with a good reason not to go for this combination?

Its a 2.0 don't think its in production yet but no problems with that engine. Not really seen problems with the 1.5 150 engine either to be honest.

There are a couple of very well documented issues with the 1.5 TSI 150PS, in both manual and DSG forms, albeit the issues seem to be more prevalent or noticeable with the manual gearbox. The issues are being reported across all VAG brands including the VW T-Roc and Scirroco, Seat Ateca and Arona and Audi A3...

No issues reported on the 2.0 TSI 190PS though, so definitely the safer option and the choice I'd go for.

 

Now is not a good time to be buying the 1.5 TSI 150PS.
