Bluetooth Module Swap and Engine Management Light

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I recently swapped out my faulty Bluetooth module for another and it works fine. However, a day later my engine management light came on.

I appreciate the only way to know what's causing it is to plug in, but would having an incorrectly coded Bluetooth module cause the EML to come on a day or so after fitting?

Also, what is involved in recoding the module?

Appreciate all help and advice. Thank you.

Bluetooth coding will have nothing to do with the EML

Have you got access to VCDS or Carista? Would be good to see the fault code...
