Wheel Centre caps pre F/L Superb - replacement

Featured Replies

Replacing faded front & back emblems with new black ones (I am aware that it is the Citigo ones that are needed for this)

I want to swap wheel caps also, which I thought would be straightforward, but got into a weird loop with parts guy at dealership.

He thinks F/L ones might be of a different size but not sure. I offered to bring in or measure current ones, but apparently that wouldn't help because everything is based on reg number - he could find caps for mine, but only green ones, which were in stock. Suggested he measured one of those, and then a F/L one to see if they were the same, but he didn't think this would be possible (not sure why....)

He really was trying to help, but couldn't seem to go beyond "computer says no".

So, the question is, "will Mk2 F/L caps fit Mk2 pre- F/L?"

There is a part number listed elsewhere Briskoda, but this is not recognised by system. If anyone knows correct one it would be appreciated, because I fear he will demand the reg number of the F/L model!

Looks great!

Ordered - nothing like a personal recommendation

The young lad at the dealer was doing his best, but knew only how to click his mouse. My brother-in-law was parts manager at a Vauxhall dealership and could quote part numbers and interchangeability on everything from a Cresta to an Insignia. I reckon that when he retired they needed a new computer system and half a dozen extra staff!

Thanks muchwise
