Hi, I was about to order a new Octavia with some factory fitted options which means an 18 week wait for delivery.  This leads us into October, but this lead me to thinking about the next model coming out soon.

 

I wonder if anyone knows when the new Mk4 Octavia comes out.  Would I be best to wait a while and order the Mk4, or just get on and order the Mk3?  Is there likely to be a difference in price and/or configuration?

The MkIII is about a year into it's mid-life facelift, so it'll be at least another couple of years before we'll see the MkIV.

 

Order the MkIII, it'll have already taken it's biggest hit in depreciation by the time the MkIV is showcased, let alone released.

The mk4 Octavia will be unveiled later this year.
