Will Octavia II roof bars fit latest Skoda Octavia?

Featured Replies

HAving a clearout and trying to decide whether to sell my roof bars or keep them for when I buy a new Skoda Octavia (made the HUGE mistake of selling my Octavia, but next car will be another Octavia!). Any help much appreciated.

If they're Thule bars or similar they should fit fine, needing only (possibly) an adjustment to the width of the clamps to the roof rails.

Thanks for your reply StickyMicky. They are genuine VAG parts, so not adjustable. They have a lug which locates in dedicated holes in the underside of the roof  in the door openings.

Comparing the parts diagrams for official roof accessories for a 2007 O2 and a 2014 O3 I'd have said not, but perhaps a quick call to your local stealer's parts department would confirm?

Having done further research on Google using the part number, I´m guessing that they probably won´t fit the latest model, they seem to be specific to the Octavia II.  I live in Spain, and getting that sort of information from the local Volkswagen dealer (Skoda don´t have their own dedicated parts/servicing facilities here), is about as likely as me winning the lottery!  Which is why I posted on here, using a new account as my old login and username no longer works. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to check, much appreciated.

Did you manage to click through to the parts diagrams OK?

Another source of information is skoda-parts.com; they don't have everything but it's worth a look.

Yes,  the Skoda parts link confirms that the part number of my bars (LAS 610 001B) only fits vehicles up to 2013, so pointless keeping them any longer. Thanks again for your help!
