Recommended Posts

Hi.

I drive 1z8 with 1.9 tdi and 5 speed manuel.

Last week the a.c stopped working so i cheched the thermisters (3) on the unit.

All show a chainge in temp' and all connectirs are 5V.

The pressure in the compresson is geed. But yet the ac not working when it is hot out side.

And some times it is worm on the left side and cold on the right.

I do not have climatronic just the simplest one.

Dose any one hed this issue?

Thanks.

Gadi

I would look at the refrigerant pressure with the compressor standing vs compressor running. If it increases with the compressor on then you know the control side is probably ok, you know your compressor is probably ok which means it could be as simple as being low on refrigerant

Thanks for the suggestion superbTWM,

I have done refrigerant refilling also and tried , but same behavior , more note : 2 month back i replaced the Condenser , compressor and High Presser value .. after that AC worked for few days and after that started behaving strange as mentioned above.

Check if the engine fan is working when the AC is on. If not that is your problem.

I have 2 FAN units in my car , and both are working when the AC is on..
